Who provides the service (qualifications)
Cholesterol Doctors employs GMC (General Medical Council) registered doctors most of whom are experienced GPs. The name and GMC number of the doctor is shown.
Prices (No hidden costs)
Prices include the cost of consultation, prescription, dispensing and postage by Special Delivery. No additional charges are made.
Fast Services
You can see if you are eligible and place an order for a medication at one visit. The doctor will normally authorise the prescription the same day with the item being dispatched by special delivery the same or next working day.
Delivery and Refunds and Returns
Prescription items are posted by special delivery. Signature is required on receipt.
If for any reason the doctor does not agree to authorise a prescription or an item is not available you will be informed by email and refunded straight away.
Unused medication and healthcare items cannot be returned. They should be given to a pharmacist for disposal.
Site Security and Privacy
Personal information is exchanged and stored securely. Only doctors and authorised staff have access to the data. No information about you will be shared with anyone not involved in providing the service. For details about security please see http://www.comodo.com

Cholesterol Doctors complies with the Care Standards Act 2000. Cholesterol Doctors is applying for registration with the Care quality Commission under the name Index Medical Ltd. The registered address is No 7, 17 Randall Road, Clifton Wood, Bristol, BS8 4TP. Dr Steele is the ‘Responsible person’ and ‘Manager’.
The Care Quality Commission does not regulate the supply of non-prescription items. Our partner pharmacy Rowlands registered with Royal Pharmaceutical society of Great Britain as an Internet Pharmacy No 1034447.
Complaints and Feedback
Complaints and feedback can be made by email at directors@cholesteroldoctors.co.uk phone 0117 9273753 or by post to Dr Steele, No. 7, 17 Randall Road, Clifton Wood, Bristol, BS8 4TP. Written complaints will be acknowledged within 2 working days and responded to in full within 20 days.
Complaints about the delivery, packaging and labelling of items should be directed to Rowlands Pharmacy who have their own complaints procedure
